What Access to Work Can Fund

Access to Work (ATW) is a government scheme that provides practical support for disabled and neurodivergent people in employment or self‑employment. It helps remove workplace barriers by funding adjustments, equipment and specialist support.

This page explains what ATW is, who can apply, what support it typically funds and how the application process works.

If you're autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic, or have other neurological differences, Access to Work can fund:

💻 Assistive technology (Software and equipment)

🧑‍🏫 Job coaching or specialist support

🗣️ Communication support

🚗 Travel to work

🎧 Adjustments for sensory or physical needs

The exact support offered depends on your role, your needs and your workplace environment.
